Gardner Denver Pumps to open two new facilities

October 8, 2013

Gardner Denver is opening two new facilities during the fourth quarter to better serve its customers. The Cheyenne, WY location will open October 1st.  The San Antonio, TX location will open later this fall.   More locations are slated to open in 2014 -- both in the United States and internationally.

Jeremy Holberg, Director of Aftermarket, says the new locations will bring Gardner Denver closer to its customers.  “We will be able to provide pumps, service and parts within hours after a customer calls,” Holberg says.  “We understand time can be critical, and we wanted to provide the best solution for our customers. The Cheyenne location allows us to be in heart of the Bakken formation and the Rockies. The San Antonio location puts us in the center of the Eagle Ford Shale. “

The Cheyenne location is a 6,000 square foot building offering parts, service and sales. The facility will have an overhead crane allowing Gardner Denver to assist its customers moving pumps. Gardner Denver will provide preliminary inspections and minor repairs at the facility. Plus, a full-time, experienced service tech will be based at the facility and readily available to help customers in the field.

The Cheyenne facility will be stocked with a wide-variety of Core Exchange Pumps allowing customers to get a fully rebuilt and factory tested pump with a six-month warranty in less than a day. The Core Exchange program lets customers exchange their broken pump for a refurbished pump saving valuable time.

In addition to pumps, the Cheyenne location will be stocked with Gardner Denver fluid ends, valves, seats, packing, plungers and other essential parts.

George Rainey is the new branch manager and Bill Bentley is the Lead Service Tech.

The San Antonio location will be 5,400 square foot facility stocked with Core Exchange pumps, fluid ends and expendable parts such as valves, seats, packing and plungers. The location will be able to provide these items to customers in the region within hours of a call.

Plus, Gardner Denver service techs will provide field inspections and field repair. Larry Edwards will lead the San Antonio facility.
