Gardner Denver Treats Customers with Open House & BBQ in Altoona

Altoona, PA- Gardner Denver hosted customers with an open house of the Altoona, PA service and repair facility.  This state of the art facility is focused on providing customers in that region with the kind of support they have relied on from Gardner Denver for more than 150 years.

The 70 attendees received a complete tour of the Altoona location which supports petroleum and industrial customers throughout the active shale regions demonstrating the commitment of the “anywhere, anytime partnership” mentality held by Gardner Denver Pumps.

Following the tour, Gardner Denver BBQ experts James Bethel and Josh Martin from Tulsa, OK treated attendees to lunch prepared on a smoker brought from Tulsa. Fueled with special pecan wood and Oklahoma BBQ sauce, this was no ordinary BBQ!

CEO Michael Larsen and President Duane Morgan greeted customers at the entrance and shared their thoughts during a pre-lunch presentation. With Jared Stone from Gardner Denver’s P&IP Marketing moderating the event where Larsen was presented with a customized baseball jersey and customers were also treated to several giveaways including Gardner Denver branded products and prizes like the iPad Mini TM.
