Gardner Denver to sponsor NASCAR event

Race fans get ready! The Gardner Denver 200 Fired Up by Johnsonville runs this Saturday, June 21,with the live broadcast on ABC beginning at 1:45 p.m. CT and the green flag dropping at 2:06 p.m. The Gardner Denver 200 Fired Up by Johnsonville is a NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Elkhart Lake’s Road America in Wisconsin. This is the first year that Gardner Denver is the title sponsor.

By sponsoring the race, Gardner Denver hopes to raise awareness and strengthen its brand name. Gardner Denver products are used by NASCAR. Pump products are part of medical equipment used at the tracks in emergencies. Air compressors are used in Pit Row. Food and beverage machines use Gardner Denver vacuum pumps.  Race spectators may not realize it, but Gardner Denver products are engrained in their everyday life.

The Gardner Denver 200 Fired Up by Johnsonville is a NASCAR event held on a challenging road course instead of the typical oval race track. Drivers will race to complete 50-laps on a four-mile, 14-turn course. The race is the first of three road courses on the NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule.
